Fuding Yu, LAc

Acupuncturist & Herbalist

Fuding Yu is a highly skilled acupuncturist with nearly 20 years of clinical experience. He has performed over 20,000 acupuncture treatments and prescribed countless herbal formulas, helping patients restore balance, relieve pain, and achieve lasting wellness.

Dr. Yu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Acupuncture and a Master’s degree in Medicine. Prior to practicing in the United States, he served as a physician at a major general hospital in China and as an instructor for residency training.

His expertise includes, but is not limited to:

  • Pain Management: Headaches, neck pain, back pain, shoulder pain (including shoulder periarthritis and movement difficulties), and sports injury rehabilitation.

Ziyang Chen is an acupuncturist and herbalist with 20 years of professional experience. She specializes in pain management, chronic conditions, women’s health, and stress-related disorders. By applying the principles of Classical Chinese Medicine, Dr. Chen helps patients restore balance, activate the body’s natural healing capacity, and achieve long-term wellness.

Dr. Chen earned an M.D. and Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, and a Ph.D. in Japan. During her Master’s program, she apprenticed for three years under renowned Chinese Medicine doctors. She also practiced at a rehabilitation hospital in China, collaborating closely with neurologists, physiatrists, and physical therapists. Currently, she serves as a professor in the Acupuncture Program at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.
